Does your policy cover an Act of God?
Lightning, hail, tornados, violent winds, forest fires and even earthquakes. All are sometimes referred to as Acts of God.
Some are automatically included in home insurance policies. Others can be insured by adding a coverage known as an endorsement.
Only flooding (overflow from a body of water) and earth movements are natural disasters that are not insurable.
