The road to savings
Here are some tips for reducing your auto insurance
premium
.
Drive carefully. In auto insurance, good drivers are rewarded.
Install an anti-theft device. Even if your insurer doesn't require one, it will still have a positive impact on your premium.
Increase your
deductible
. For collision coverage, choose a $500 deductible instead of $250. For fire, theft, and vandalism, choose a $100 deductible instead of $50.
Do you rent a car often? Add endorsement 27 to your policy to cover you in the case of damage to rented or borrowed vehicles. This endorsement is a much better value than the coverage provided by rental companies.
Buy your auto and home & property insurance from the same insurer.
Always remember to check the cost of insurance before buying or leasing a new vehicle.
